Our property is not a commercial farm, but rather a backyard garden where we share our daily country life with you. Please enjoy your stay in harmony with the rhythm of nature.

Staying with Pets

At Ikken-yado Sameura, we warmly welcome guests traveling with pets. (An additional pet fee applies.) We provide pet cages and pet sheets for your convenience. Please review the following house rules to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone:

  • 2nd Floor Restriction: Pets are strictly prohibited on the second floor.

  • Tatami Room Rule: Pets must wear dog socks when entering the tatami mat room.

  • Training & Health: We welcome dogs that are fully house-trained and will not soil indoors. Please ensure your pet has received flea and tick treatment before arrival.

  • Sleeping Arrangements: Pets must sleep in their own designated cages or beds. Bringing pets onto human beds or futons is strictly prohibited.

  • Bathing: Please do not bathe or shampoo your dog in the indoor bathroom. You may use the outdoor washing area for shampooing. Please bring your own pet shampoo, as the shampoo provided inside the bathroom is for human use only.

  • Garden & Farm Etiquette: Please do not allow your pets to relieve themselves in the garden or farm area. The vegetables and herbs grown here are used for cooking by our guests. Furthermore, pet waste can damage or kill the plants.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
