【Experience Guide】 Returning to Your True Self: The Ancient Shinto Method of "Chinkon-ho"

Chinkon-ho is a traditional practice passed down through ancient Shinto. It is a method of quietly centering and realigning your mind and soul, which easily scatter in daily life. By chanting Norito (sacred Shinto prayers) aloud while engaging in mindful physical movements, you can harmonize your mind and body, drawing out your inherent inner strength.
Connecting with Yourself: A Shinto Experience to Harmonize from Within
What we value most is not a form of spirituality where you depend on someone else. Instead, we focus on nurturing your "inner power" to connect with your own senses and realign yourself.
Rather than seeking answers from others, this experience invites you to quietly face your inner self within the sacred shrine grounds, cultivating your own power of awareness. Through ancient practices of Chinkon (soul-centering) and ritual prayers, each participant can resonate with their own core and restore harmony to mind and body. We believe this authentic Shinto experience leads to the true strength needed to live authentically as yourself.
This Experience is Ideal for Those Who:
Feel the need for "grounding" (connecting deeply with the earth and yourself).
Wish to step away from today's information overload and take quiet time for self-reflection.
Want to experience deep meditation (mindfulness) in a historic, sacred space.
Are looking to discover their future path, vision, or purpose in life.

About the Shrine
Established in 1149 (the 5th year of the Kyuan era). The main hall is renowned for its delicate cedar carvings and its beautiful architectural style, featuring a Chidori-Hafu (gabled roof) in the Seiwa-zukuri style. Three deities—Amaterasu-Omikami, Izanagi-no-Mikoto, and Izanami-no-Mikoto—are enshrined here, keeping the ancient myths of the gods alive.
Within the grounds stand eight giant trees over 870 years old, surrounding the area as if guarding a sacred sanctuary. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by crisp, pure air and a sense of healing and tranquility that gently lifts the weight off your shoulders.
